T.I.A This is Africa

Ice cold showers? Unbeliveably large bugs with stingers? No air conditioning? Questionable meat?
This Is Africa!
T.I.A is a phrase we said a hundred times the past ten days! Fred coined it our first morning there after us girls had quite the fiasco with a rather large and horrifying bug in our room! At breakfast Kerry, Cami and I were asking why the guys didn't come help us when they heard us screaming, Fred's response was "T.I.A, This Is Africa." After the first day we got over our fear of bugs, they obviously weren't going anywhere so we had to accept them!
Us girls, spelling out T.I.A in front of a hut!

It's hard to figure out where to begin! Right now I'm sitting in the London Airport looking over a journal that has every page filled with great things God did, funny stories that happened to us and interesting people that we met! I'll start with introducing our phenomnal team!

Our fearless leader, Ross, was incredible. He came to Sierra Leone last year and it was such a blessing to watch how much it meant to him to see all his Sierra Leonian friends again.

Fred, or "First Class Fred," kept us laughing the whole trip. He's from Kenya, which already makes him cool and ontop of that he is hilarious.

Peter, which we always pronunce in a British accent, has such a passion to help the people of Sierra Leone and it was motivating to watch how dilliegent and attentive he was while helping the Sierra Leonians.

Cami, who has quite a few nicknames, is a gem!! She brought so much joy to me and was so comforting whenever I needed someone!

Kerry, spent the whole trip showing what it means to be the hands and feet of Jesus. She was spilling over with love for the people of Sierra Leone.

On the bus ride leaving school and heading to the airport Kerry read us Romans 10:14-16
"How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they bellieve in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: How beauitful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things."

Unforetnely, I have to cut this blog shorter then I thought, we have to start getting ready to load up. Please pray for us as we travel home!
